TCNS e-News January 20th

If you wanted a traditional winter because you were missing the cold and snow… be careful what you wish for!

Although… the 6 and under crowd do seem very happy!

Just a few reminders….

When you arrive please pull your car all the way forward so those who come after you don’t have to parallel park.

When it is bitter cold or windy expect us to use the bike room, but otherwise send your child with their snow gear.

Thank you!

Class Updates

We have been sending individual class updates… but it’s really nice to know what’s going in in the other classes… so here are some updates –

Enjoy…

The Parent Tot Kids separated with absolutely no tears!!!

For the next few weeks there will be 4 adults, Betsy, Kathy, new hire Kari Grace, and Sue.

The RTG teachers made a giant snowman out of foam board with a cut-out for the face and took photos of each child as a snowman!

Then the kids were asked how to make a snowman, and their responses with the photos will become a classroom book!

The 3’s loved the classic tale, The Mitten by Jan Brett.

They laced mittens and re-enacted the story!

The 4’s love Centers Days!
This week they focused on matching upper and lower case letters, letter / sound association, and a number dot to dot.

Hey especially love wearing letter vests and reading words!

The AM KE made a beautiful castle for their Magical Fairyland bulletin board.

The PM KE kids enjoyed learning about the moon and inviting their Mothers to lunch during “M” week!

Today… just in time for the snowstorm, they are making stocking snowmen!

And that’s just a glimpse behind the classroom doors!
