Behind the Classroom Doors December 16th

What a wonderful week we had!

Our week was filled with baking, gifting, eating and SURPRISES!

What at joyous time!

We were fortunate to have some parents come to class to share their Holiday traditions with us.  Learning about other customs and traditions enriches us all!

It is time to register for Fall Preschool!

Applications were sent in an email blast this week.
Please let me know ASAP if you did not receive one!
Feel free to forward the email to anyone interested in a great, warm and nurturing Nursery School for the fall!

The postmark deadline for nursery school applications is January 6th

Camp Amigos Applications went out via the cubbie express!
Please let me know if you did not get one!

Special Guest Morning for Ready to Grow will be Saturday morning, January 7th!
Watch for details!

Now… For everyone… take a peek behind the classroom doors!

The Parent Tot Kids will separate on their first Monday back!
(January 9th. We know you can do it, kids!)
Parents will stay in the parlor for this first Monday.

Ready Two Grow is enjoying the awesome books the teachers made for each child.

Children Children Who Do You See is created in the model of Brown Bear Brown Bear… except their books have photos of ALL their friends!
(Parent Tot Kids have them too!!)

The 3 / 4 Morning class created treats to take home.

They hammered peppermint candies in baggies o break them, then rolled pretzel logs in melted chocolate and sprinkled the peppermint on.

This was pure hands-on YUMMY fun!!
Miss Laurie will be cooking with the classes at least once a month from now on!
Thank you, Miss Laurie, for this awesome activity!

The 3 / 4 Afternoon Class made YUMMY Christmas trees, using upside down sugar cones, frosting that was dyed green, and LOTS of colorful yummies for ornaments.

I took great photos for their memory books, since everyone ATE their creation!

The 4 / 5 Morning Class also made chocolate and peppermint pretzel logs!

The 4 / 5 Year Old Afternoon class arrived to a surprise… the morning class made a gigantic block creation and left it up for them!

The afternoon class then expanded on the creation.
What a cool idea!

The class will be cooking up some fun with Miss Laurie in the New Year!

The Morning KE kids invited their parents for a cookie party!

What a sweet time it was!

The Afternoon KE kids made amazing holiday centerpieces that their families will certainly treasure!!

And that is just SOME of the fun!
Happy Holidays!

Mollie R. may be only 2 years old… but she knows the school routine!
So when the Parent Tot kids had squeezable applesauce for their snack, she stayed in her little chair instead of lining up to go to the bike room.

“Come on,” her mom said.   “We are leaving the room to go play.”

“But it’s still snack.” replied Mollie.
“I never got anything on my napkin!”

Gracie G. was super excited that her Mom was coming to class to talk about Hanukkah.
She could not wait to get there!

She exclaimed… “C’mon Mom…. Let’s go and teach them some Jewish stuff!”
