Classroom Happenings WEEK 4

Class Updates

Miss Sue was in the sparkle bag in Parent Tot
, which meant she was the surprise guest at circle time!

That will be a monthly occurrence.

Our RTG kids are movin’ and shakin’ and making new friends!

They are LOVING Color Days, where EVERYTHING from their clothes to the toys to the water in the water table reflect the color of the day.

Our 3’s can tell you how to make a paper mache apple (glue, water and newspaper in case they forget!) and most of the kids loved this very messy project.

Our 4’s are trying to use Spanish when naming colors.

The AM KE kids loved their field trip to the Pet Shop where they got to see (and touch) many animals including dogs, snakes and lizards.

On the way home they stopped at the library to check out books of their favorite animals.

Then is was on to the new bakery for some yummy cookies!

The PM KE class learned how to weave baskets as part of an introduction to African art.
It was a challenging but satisfying project!

And that was just a SLICE of the fun this week!
