Class Updates Week 3 & Kids Say the Darndest Things...

Sue will join the Parent Tot class on Monday, September 26 for circle time and she can't wait!
Sue will make this a regular monthly happening!

The RTG kids made beautiful apple tree art using paper, glue, paint and Q-tips!!
They look fantastic hanging in the room!

The 3's have now dabbled in glue, tempera paint, water colors and chalk in addition to working with markers, crayons, stickers and scissors.

The art table is a busy place!
Next week they will start paper mache apples!

The 3pm class as well as the 4's have started learning Spanish!

We are starting with numbers, colors and body parts and the Spanish is woven into the day.
In just a few weeks they will be able to teach YOU!

The Morning KE class created a beautiful  bulletin board they call Into The Woods.
The Afternoon KE class walked to the Wilmette Fire Station where they had the grand tour and left with fire hats!

And that is only a slice of our wonderful week!!!

This week I ask you... are these kids really just 3 and 4??!!!

Christopher J. walked into Lunch Bunch on Monday and announced...
"If you don't have a dessert don't worry... I baked chocolate chip cookies yesterday!"

Benjamin S. was sitting next to Christopher and slowly picking at his lunch.

With most of his lunch still left he asked...
"Christopher, can I have a cookie?"

Christopher looked at the food still in front of Benjamin and said...
"After you take 3 more bites."

Benjamin complied and then said...
"There!  I did it!  Can I have a bite now?"

Christopher looked up and said with a smile...
"Just one more big bite, Benjamin!!"

Jenna C.and Alec F. were sitting together at the table and chatting as they played together.

Suddenly, Jenna sneezed, and in her adorable voice said,
 "Alec... what do you say?"

Alec looked up and said...
"Huh?  What are you talking about?"

Jenna replied...
"I sneezed Alec, you should say bless you."
