4am & 4PM Class Update & E-News
Wow – what a fun and busy week we had!
We continue to wait for our butterflies to emerge from their chrysalises. Plus, we have been observing the life cycle of the lady bug. They are moving through their larva stage, but they are not quite lady bugs yet!
We also made portfolio’s to take our treasured art home in, but then the room looked so
bare, so we water colored to add some color and zest!!
Of course, we enjoyed Western Day!
We used our imaginations to get our horses ready to ride…. we learned about the bridle and even the bit (ask your child what that is!!) When our horses were ready we went ridin’ and ropin’! We ended the day square dancing at our hoe-down!
On Thursday the morning class had a special visit from Grants’s Mom, Michelle, who is
a horse trainer. Thank you for sharing with us all the interesting things about training
horses!
Today we had our own 4am orchestra!
Gracie, Judy, Pierce and Zoe all take violin lessons and they each brought their violin to play for us. What a special treat!! They are quite talented and poised!

The weather has been perfect, so we have been enjoying extended time outdoors….
Lots of running and playing tag and digging…… summer’s really coming!
In other news………
Kindergarten Visits!! – We have arranged for the kids from TCNS to have tours of their District 39 Elementary Schools, which will include a walk through of the kindergarten classrooms. If you want to take the tour with us, please meet in front of your particular school at:
Romona: May 23rd @ 2:30
Harper: May 24th at 10:30
Central: May 25th at 9:15
MacKenzie: May 30th at 9:15
There WILL be regular school on those days. You must provide your own transportation to and from the kindergarten visit. Questions? Contact Sue.
The KE lotteries were conducted and there are still a limited number of openings in KE. If you are interested in afternoon KE please contact Heidi Harding, and if you are interested in morning KE please contact Jenine Tubergen.
The 4am Class Picnic is Thursday, May 31 at 10:45.
The last Day of class is Friday, June 1.
You are invited to join us at 11:00 that morning for a Very Special Moment.
